The apostles of Mars made their entry

they arrived on thee meteor stone

twas a rock with a herstory

now comes the mystery

of the expansion of what was alone





Ray Bradbury and Arthur, Isaac too

knew a moment such as this would come true

we've been warmed by their warnings

of coming shapeshift dawnings

and we'll gladly see this one through





yesterday Sir Lowell and his spyglass

put ribs on the once-breathing sphere

but it took a lone rock

blown loose from its dock

to deliver our kin, there -------> here





well, damit, lets treat em like guests

(the alternative bein 'like pests')

and share our ol' home 

where the buffalo roam

while our brains look for button what resets...
